i love these books and i heard they ere making a film in summer 2010 but when i looked at the movie list for next Year it is not on there 
They are in fact going to make a movie. Good news: the guy who made the screen play for it is the same guy who made the screen play for The fourth Fantastic four movie and Spider man movies. Bad news: Catherine Hardwicke is directing it.
